Here we will have a look on how to create the EM Grid control users
First we will create a super administrator:
First, logon to the EM Grid control as a sysman user.
Then click on the Setup (upper right) and then choose Administrators on the left side
Then click on the Setup (upper right) and then choose Administrators on the left side
Now click on the Create button.
Choose the name of the user, password and check the Super Administrator button.
Click on the Next button.
Click on the Next button.
Review the settings and then click on the Finish button.
You can see, taht the test_admin user was created.
You can check it also in the database:

Now, we will create administrator:

Now, we will create administrator:
Logon as sysman user, click on Setup (uuper-right) and than click on the Administrators.
Click on the Create buton and than fill the Username and Password.
Click on the Next button and the choose the Roles.
Click on the Next Button and then choose the needed Privileges.
Click on the Next and then add the Targets.
Click on the Next and review the settings.
Click on the Finish, and the user will be created.
Now, try to connect to the EM Grid control with this user.
Now, we will create a user with View rights only:
Click on Setup (upper-rightt), then click on Administrators and then click on Create button..Fill the username and password and click on Next button.
Click on Setup (upper-rightt), then click on Administrators and then click on Create button..Fill the username and password and click on Next button.
Revoke the Public role from the user and click on Next button.
On the next screen check the View any target privilege and click on Next button.
On the next screen, add all targets the user should see and choose the view privilege. ( I have no targets added)
Click on Next button, review the user settings and then click on Finish button.
The user was successfully created.
