Create notification rules:
In the "General" tab, you can select the name,description and target of your rule. you can make your rule public and you can set if you want to use it for all databases or just for one or few of them:
After you click on the "Add" button, new window will appear, and you can select the correct DB.
After you choose the metod, click on OK to create the rule.

Using notification methods, you can enable different mechanisms for sending notification alerts. The most common method is to send alerts via e-mail or pagers, or both. Grid Control also provides the ability to send alerts via SNMP traps or custom OS scripts.
- To send e-mail notifications, you must first configure the Outgoing Mail server. For this, you need to be a privileged user.
- You can send Enterprise Manager notifications to a third party through Simplified Network Management Protocol (SNMP).
- You can specify an operating system command or script that will be called in Notification Rules. The OS command is run on
the machine where the Management Service is running.
Click on the "Setup" on the riht upper side on the main screen of the EM Grid control.
You can also add some OS commands, PL/SQL procedures and SNMP Traps:

It's really simple and easy to assign the methods to notifications.
